Heart To all the Ladies of NT

i'm reading a wonderful series of books called the yada yada prayer group.

the church of one of the ladies give roses to all women on mother's day.

red if the mother is alive, white if she has passed away.

so to all the ladies of nt

thanks for the WHITE rose ... my mom has been gone (to a better place) for over 13 years ... she was my best friend ... we had fun together!

MOM could look at some design and macrame' a beautiful plant hanger or create something with odds and ends stuff.

we could look in the frige and couldn't see anything to eat ... but MOM could create a dinner masterpiece with whatever was in the fridge ... ever have cut-up hot dogs on a pizza??

when it was Mother's Day - she would bring out all her past Mother's Day cards ... and she only had 2 kids ... but there would be 10 or more cards out a year!

when it was our birthday - she would sign the card, "Love, Ma, Whiskers, Tammy, and kitties" (Whiskers was our schnauzer, Tammy was our calico, and kitties were Tammy's brood)

yep - I miss my MOM .. thanks for the kindness!

Thanks for the white rose, my yappy friend. My mom has been gone almost 8 years now. She was clever, funny, inventive, adventurous, and made everything she did unique to her own whacked ways. I'm sure that I was her favorite.

Thank you for both roses. My grandma has been gone and was responsible for much of my upbringing. My mom is still alive and hanging in there. Bless you.

that is so special Curious

I just got off the phone with my mom in South Africa and we were sharing some real special memories together.

It did make me think tho not only of those whose moms have passed on, but also for those who dont have good relationship with their moms or moms not having same with kids............

so for all those who feel a hurt today.....
here is a yellow rose and a prayer that those relationships will heal

Thanks Yappers! The red rose is so beautiful. I have heard from son 1. The Hawaii son needs to wake up and give a jingle. The white rose makes me sad. It hasn't been that long and it is days like today that I miss my best friend. (That darn dog isn't a good fill in!)
