One of my favorites is from the movie Fried Green Tomatoes where Kathy Bates is waiting in the parking lot for a space to open and two young girls in a Red VW convertible zip into the spot. Bates tells the girls she was waiting on the spot... one girl says, "tough" the other says, "Face it lady we're younger and faster" and go on their way.

Bates' character sits back.... says Towanda... and rams the VW several times... the girls run out and ask Bates "What are you doing?, Are you crazy?" Bates looks up and says "Face it girls, I'm older and I have more insurance" then drives off....

Ok just got home from seeing Forgetting Sara Marshall and a great line from the movie....

a waiter gave this rock star guy a demo tape and then later asked him if he listened to it yet and the rock dude says...oh yeah that I was going to but then I forgot and went on just living my life. For some reason I just cracked up and wish I could use that line next time a client asks for something.

I just love the donkey in the Shrek movies!

Monsters, Inc.

Mike Wazowski: "I've only got ONE eye!"

I just loved that scene.

Tommy Boy is one of my all time favorite movies with some of the best lines ever!!! I love when David Spade and Chris Farley are on their road trip playing with the radio and on comes a Carpenters song..."Long Ago, and oh so Far Away....." And Richard's like "you can change it if you want to" Tommy says "I can deal with it if you can" Then it skips forward and shows them both with tears streaming down their faces belting out the chorus "Don't you remember you told me you loved me baby............"

Also in Steel Magnolias I love when Ouisa is getting her mustache waxed and goes off on Clairee saying something like "I don't see plays, 'cause I can nap at home for free. And I don't see movies 'cause they're trash, and they got nothin' but naked people in 'em! And I don't read books, 'cause if they're any good they're gonna make 'em into a miniseries."

LOL, Jess, isn't that the truth.

Grumpy Old Men, the two old guys are bickering back and forth and the ancient dad of one of the old men says, "Knock it off, both of ya'!" Then under his breath, he says, "Damned kids."

Planes Trains and Automobiles

When they get on the interstate going the wrong way... and then squeeze between two 18 wheelers... for a split second Steve Martin looks over at John Candy and he's dressed in a cheesey devil costume (with pitchfork) and laughing at him.

I have to change into dry pants after that one.

Oh I love The Grumpy Old Men movies!! I think it's the first one when Walter Matthau (sp?) and his son Kevin Pollack are sitting side by side in their recliners, both watching their own tvs and the son stops channel surfing on a Hawaiian Tropics commercial with a chick in a bikini rubbing lotion on herself. Walter Matthau looks over aznd then grabs his remote to change to the same channel!!! LMAO
