Lor, I totally agree with you! There are times when it's a relief or a "venting session" just to open up to someone else in a chat room. Sort of a way of talking to anyone, instead of all the thoughts circling around and around inside our heads. Yes, typing is a forum is wonderful too...but there's just times when you want to feel like someone, ANYone, understands what we're feeling. We used to get a dozen people in chat in evenings....what has everyone found to do that seems more interesting than friendship?

Well, several months ago I did a poll to ask what times would be convenient for members to go to chat. It went over very well and I think we ended on about 11am, 5pm and 9 or 10pm for the late nighters. That was around the time my mom got sick so it didn't get re-addressed. Maybe we could ask the mods to put a sticky up and place times for chat? I think more people would come into chat with a designated time.
