He plays the occasional part as Susan's adulterous ex-husband Karl. |
I had to look it up on The Internet Movie Database.
He played Karl Mayer. I've never seen this show. After finding out he's on it, you better believe I'm looking it up. This is MY kind of he-man. He's not a pretty boy. I don't like pretty boys. I like them to look like MEN!!!! OOh, listen to me, I'm a 60 year old lady and I'm still looking at this guy's arms. lol |

I have posted so many replies over the years. I don't go there just to go on message boards. But if I see a movie that I like, I'll go and look it up. Then I scroll down, and there's always FASCINATING stuff to be learned. For example. Over the weekend Hallmark Channel played a 3 hour stinker called Shark Swarm. Now I'm a sucker for any JAWS type of movie. So I tuned in. I mean, it starred F Murray Abraham, Armand Assante, John Schneider, I mean, with these stars in it, well, how could it go wrong?? Well, it stunk. More than the fishes stunk!! lol So, I did my thing, and went to the INternet Movie Database and saw that one of the cast members was named Marco Assante. So I looked up his name and it gave no mention of who he was. Just his credits in film. So I asked the question, "Who is Marco Assante"? and immediately someone popped in and explained that he's Armand Assant's nephew". I find this whole movie thing fascinating. You get trivia on a movie, goofs, and a whole bunch of people yelling at each other. You should have seen the American Idol message boards the night that David Cook won. Holy Moly. Oh, and if I'm trying to remember a motion picture, and I'm going crazy, BUT I know one of the actors in it, I just look up that actor's credits and BAM, there's the movie. I think it's one of the better websites on the internet. But the best, the absolute best is Turner Classic Movies. Want to know why?? Let's say I'm looking forward to a Lana Turner Movie. I find the name of the movie. Let's use Peyton Place as an example. I just go to tcm.com, I put in Peyton Place, and over to the right of the information page, it tells you when it's on. Now it might be on next month, or even next week. So how am I supposed to remember? (I can't remember ANYTHING lately), so I used to write myself notes. Well tcm.com has this nifty reminder feature. You just click on the REMIND ME option. You type in your email, and THEY EMAIL YOU ONE WEEK AND ALSO ONE DAY before the film is being shown. I adore this feature. So heres to my fellow movie lovers (whether it be black and whites, or technicolor). Long Live Film!!! lol |
