Default Help Please....Gifts?????

As usual i was/am sick and lost all track of time. So this is the last week of school for my 4 year old. Now, Im rushing around trying to figure out gifts for the teachers and aides. I want something small, not expensive and EASY!!!!!!! ofcourse this is me we are talking about, and nothing I ever do is easy....it always turns into a project!!!!

My son Eric is a high functioning autistic but very STUBBORN (gets that from both sides of family)

I need help and ideas!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is what I have so far............................................... .....................

Bus Driver (who is the BEST!!!!! and is now battling his 2nd go round with cancer and just wants to make it to the last day of school) A giant poster card saying thank you and we love him!!!!!

Pre K teacher..........They were learning how plants grow, so I thought of having him make a card showing a flower from seed to bloom and saying "Thank you for helping me grow!!!!

PPCD teacher...............?????? She always sent home notes saying Whats hopping this week with a frog. ??????

6 aides..................?????????

classmates?????? In his school you cant get a class list with names and phone numbers/addresses. Since his bday is in the summer I had to call every name in the phonebook looking for classmates to invite! GRRRRRRR!!!!
So i want to write a note asking for this info and saying something like thanks for being my friend...playdates/ party in summer.....etc.

OK, this is what I have. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any suggestions greatly apppreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

laura, my grandson is graduating from kindergarden.

we have been making cards for teachers and friends. i bought a bunch of "Forget Me Not" seed packages to put inside the cars. he is decorating the crads how he wants. lots of drawing and stickers. i know these cards being done by him with not much direction will mean a lot to th people he gives them too.

btw..i think the seed packs we 10/$1

i have done these with my other kids.

ty cheryl.

they are easy for him to make. he has fun. doesn't get frustrated at the thought of making so many. i really let him write what he wants. i help with spelling IF he asks.

he made a vase of flower pack seeds for his main teacher. he glued the packs on long wooden skewers. i put a peice of the green foam stuff from the bottom of a flower arrangement. he poked them in.

i'll try and post some pictures. his last day of school is thursday.

That is a GREAT idea, Curious. This could be used for many different occasions, too. I know lots of people who would enjoy getting something like this. And putting it together in a vase is such a cute idea! I might just steal it from you!!

the flowers are chocolate eggs poked with a tooth pick. the petals are squares of tissue paper. each vase had a big decorated easter cookie wrapped in plastic with a skewer up the middle.

i made a bunch for gifts and sold some too. these were the leftovers. i'm going to use these 2 vases, just take off the little bunny that is tied to the front. well...lil'monkey is. she is using them for teacher flower pack gifts.

lol..i should have fluffed them out a bit. they look kinda squashed.

Those are really cute, Curious! All the seasonal items go on sale right after whatever holiday they pertain to so it's easy to stock up on things to use next year.

nope. very easy.

i cut tissue paper in 3 inch wide strips. and then into 3 x 3 squares. i layers the paper. so very few cuts. about 5 minutes total time since i made so many vases.

then just poke poke. grandmonkey was a great help.

the seds packets..yep like from walmart or wherever the cheapest. i bought a bunch at dollar general and big lots.
