Okay folks. I could sure use your help coming up with some ideas here.
![]() I never went to college after high school, so that puts me at a major disadvantage. ![]() Some ideas I have are assembler, envelope stuffer, and survey taker. I have yet to find an assembler or envelope stuffer job that wasn’t a scam though. If someone is a survey taker, I have some questions for you. You can post here or PM me. What else could I do? I’d be willing to get/ drop off things from the post office or one business. Okay, I’m off to the debt diet thread to see what words of wisdom I can find there. As smart as this group is, I’m sure you’ll think of ideas I’d never come up with on my own. Thanks a bunch! ![]()

we advertise for employees on craigslist all the time. real brick and mortor place.
![]() to weed out the mlm's be sure to narrow the search by putting in the city where you want to work. also try www.backpage.com many small business can't afford to place ads in city newpapers or the carreer type of websites. they cost $300 to $500 a week! maybe try going into places you might enjoy working and dropping off an informal resume.

Curious- I didn't mean to imply that craigslist was a scam as they are not. The jobs listed for my area seemed to be mostly scams. I will keep checking though. Thanks for the backpage.com link. I never heard of them. Advertising is very expensive. It cost me $18.75 for a teeny tiny yard sale ad that ran for three days. What is even worse is the yard sale got rained out!

lol..i'd say over 80% are scams. it makes it hard to find the good ones.
i had that happen with yard sales too. only saving grace was that the city i lived in gave rain checks. i saw the stuff envelope idea. many realtors and insurance agents hire people to do their mail outs. i have gotten many with hand written envelopes. wish you were close to me. i'm the one who does all of our mailouts. i would sit and do them while watching csi. ![]()

-At your home
-Flexible hours -No phone work That's a tall order, Weave. Grant writer? Sewing repairs or ironing? Keep pets for those who don't like to kennel? Handwritten invitations/calligraphy? Babysit? Book reviews for the local paper? Tie fishing flies? Load shotgun shells? Clean antiques? Rewire lamps? (it's very easy) Refinish furniture? Freelance research for journalists? Weave table runners for small boutiques? Leather repair?

Look for all the stuff in your house that you no longer need.
SELL ON EBAY. You can make some money. PM if you need to learn how.

Hmm. I'm working on this one. ![]() ![]() And lastly- Hmm. I won't be ready to launch my crafting business for a few more months. Hopefully it will support itself. I need something now that will semi support me and my kids. Need cash for things like haircuts, school expenses, clothes (thrift shopper here), and the chiropractor appointments I gave up today. Had a little cry in the car over that one before going home. Oh and I do see me keeping the job I'm looking for now for several years.
