The official position is that being Friday the 13th had nothing to do with the extra 24 hours after un-docking.

I'll never know for sure. The general consensus here is that NASA avoids the number 13 like the plague - ever since Apollo 13.

This mission set a record for fewest anomalies during mission. I'm glad it happened on my watch, though I'm only a small player.
