If $136 a bushel for grain seems like a little too much, at least U.S. could charge more than $7.00 ~~~~ really!

gas eh. my kid is at U.F. for the summer she is working on a funded "project" thats trying to use the wood pulp to capture ethanol like one can tap a maple tree and get sap or maple syrup one could tap a tree and get eth. fuel .
okay my kid is only 17 she will be a senior next year, she got best engineering project in the state of florida by making a bio fuel cell from human waste water her project was..is called the power of poop. all the waste water plants could very cheeply modify their plants to make enegry from the waste water that is just sitting there. it makes enegry all by itself! all together from all the competions with that power of poop she has gotten about 8000$ and heck there will always be human waste why dose our/ my gov not see the options our young people are not haivng trouble seeing them and or creating them.? I know my kid has some answers for those fat heads in control and those who want to drill for oil..poppy cock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
anyways I thought... BLOODY GAS... AND THE POWER OF POOP ...mix well .lol as off topic as my post is
Peace

Perhaps the "oil" businesses want to use up all the oil before exploring or introducing any alternatives.

Years ago there was stories/rumors that the oil companies were buying up many of the alternative fuel patents/ideas - just for that reason - when the oil is gone then they will haul out those other alternatives... so they'll still be the big dogs in power...$$$$

Can't buy it? Tough! Eat your oil!

OK.......Compare the price of Gas versus that of Printer Ink.

These examples do NOT imply that gasoline is cheap; they just illustrate how outrageous some prices are when compared with Gasoline......

If you think a gallon of gas is expensive....... this list will make you think, and also puts things in perspective to other things we buy.

Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 ... $10.32 per gallon

Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 ..........$9.52 per gallon

Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 ..... $10.17 per gallon

Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 ......... $10.00 per gallon

Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 ...... $33.60 per gallon

Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 ... $178.13 per gallon

Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 .. $123.20 per gallon

Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 .. . $25.42 per gallon

And this is the REAL KICKER...

Evian water 9 oz $1.49..$21.19 per gallon! $21.19 for WATER and the buyers don't even know the source!

(Evian spelled backwards is Naive.)

Ever wonder why printers are so cheap? So they have you hooked for the ink.

Someone calculated the cost of the ink at............... (you won't believe it....but it is true........)

$5,200 a gal. (five thousand two hundred dollars)

So, the next time you're at the pump, be glad your car doesn't run on water, or Whiteout, Pepto Bismol, Nyquil or God forbid, Printer Ink!

That is why we refill our ink rather than buy new catridges.

As for White-Out, well I Nevr make mistakes!

I don't know who's post sickens me more~ Cin's or Anne's????

It infuriates me that so many hard working families cannot even afford to take their children on a vacation b/c of gas prices. It's awful. And, then if they do get to drive to their destination, they can't afford the admittance.

Now ya got me all riled up, AMN!!
