The title should say "has" not had.
DH had a hernia a long time ago than about 3 years ago he had it fixed while the surgeon was in there he saw there was another one but did NOT fix it at the same time. Well DH got the other one fixed last year (new Dr this time) but than the same day the Dr toke the stitches out it came open again, the inside and the skin just opened right up. So the Dr went back in and fixed it again. It still reopened on the inside again just a few months later. After living with it for a few months it was hurting too much so we found a new Dr again and had it fix again 2 months ago. Well DH is in pain again and the bulge is back (BTW all of these have been in the abdominal area) so Dr had a CT scan done Friday and she called DH this morning with the news. There is a NEW hernia. How much can my DH handle? These surgeries are very hard on him, they always say at most your only stay one night, he's alway there a week. He doesn't handle the meds well and always gets very ill. You know how much it hurts to throw up right after hernia surgery and the anti nausea meds make you even sicker.
