Your friend - and you - have my prayers. If she has one blessing, it's having a friend in you. If anyone can help her through these dark times, I know you can.

I spoke with her yesterday and is she doing ok...the really sad thing is that John and Paulette's anniversary was yesterday. They would have been married 36 years. She not only lost her husband, but now she has the added concern of her sister who was just dx with cancer.

My friend knows all she has to do is pick up the phone...I'll be there. We always say, My family is her family and hers is mine.

We have been friends for 48 years and yet have never had any serious disagreements. We did go through some rough times when a quack told me it wasn't MS, to stop taking all the meds. He apologized after I spent 12 days in the hospital. We are strong, and we were taught at very early ages that bad things happen, we mourn, we remember and we move on. That is how we were taught to accept life's curves.

Thank all you for your support.

Wow,

That seems to be all we hear when we open up a newspaper.

How tragic.

That family (and yours of course) is in my thoughts and prayers.
