Default Sad News - LeRoi Moore from DMB dies

As many of you know, I am a huge Dave Matthews Band fan. LeRoi Moore was an absolutely awesome and amazing sax player. What a huge loss for the band.

"LeRoi Moore, the versatile saxophonist whose signature staccato fused jazz and funk overtones onto the eclectic sound of the Dave Matthews Band, died Tuesday of complications from injuries he suffered in an all-terrain vehicle accident, the band said. He was 46."

About 1/2 in to this is his jam. I love this video!

Oh man! What a rip-off!

I had no idea, thanks, Tricia, it is indeed, a huge loss.

I agree on both counts. Very sad news indeed.

It is sad. He also played the flute and being a flute player myself, I loved to listen to him play. What talent he had. I do wish I could play like that. He will be missed.
