I stayed out of the house today, my mom has apologized twice, but tried to pick another fight in between the two, so I am pretty much just keeping to myself. I did have a talk with my stepdad today and told him that,that was the last and final time she will ever put her hands on me again or the police would be at the door next time.He was flabbergasted he had no idea she had hit me and he took her out "to go for a dirive" I'm guessing to lay the law down to her. I am meeting a guy tomorrow afternoon to look at some duplexes and keeping my fingers crossed that I get called for a job next week! My ex said he will help me out as much financially as he can..he moves in 2 weeks to SC, and then he is coming here to visit. So for now I am going to just pray and hold out hope that I get a job. Char- I would love to come visit after I am settled! And certainly not before I go see Sandy or she will kill me herself! And u guys to M&M! I am going to get busy working on a quilt for Olivia, that should keep me out of trouble...for a minute.

The leaves have started to change here - and it feel like fall is in the air. Nights are in the 40's and days are 70's or low 80's. Love it!!!

I helped DD move into her apartment this morning - second floor yuk! To many stairs for these tired legs - she did two loads to my one! Good thing she doesn't have a lot of stuff! :eek:

David's sister had a bouncing baby boy on Thursday - did I tell you? He was 8 lbs 8 oz and 22" long. His name is Caedan. Mom ended up pushing for over 4 hours! She was very tired but all is well now. She is home and loving every minute of it.

Char, ummm, maybe I will come live in that apartment! LOL It's too hot here. :yikes:

well worked 10hours today, as one of my managers I sent home sick...she came to work, worked a bit but looked like she was feeling awful....and two of the other managers are on vacation...so I stayed extra....but doing ok...

Just chilling now with the babies, as the oldest two are at Church, they both alter-serve....tomorrow I dont go in till evening, 3pm-11pm..inventory monthly night...

it is now empty - moved DD into her own apartment today - come and visit!!! No humidity - cool nights warm days and fall leaves are appearing every where!!!

Ugh! It's one of those weeks. Just got home a little while ago to a message from the in-laws. Looks like my MIL has to go in for spinal surgery here soon. :( Don't have all the details yet, but waiting for hubby to call.

Trying to also plan how to attack the yard the coming year. We have so many weeds, I can't believe it! :eek: Looks like once the temp starts to drop again, I'm going to have to find a winterizer with weed control. Gotta start somewhere. On the plus side, it will give me a lot of exercise. :D
