I have needed to get gasoline all week and have been putting it off. I even told my sister (yesterday) in Texas that they needed to go fill up their two cars. I finally just went and paid 3.99 a gallon here. It was 3.59 at the beginning of the week.

Going to see a movie tomorrow -- "The Women"

anyhow, waiting patiently for a new movie that is coming end of september....called Night in Rodanthe....it is a GREAT book by Nicholas Sparks...so thinking the movie will be pretty good too....

My brother has been scanning old slides that are from as far back as the 40's that we found in our late Aunt's things.

Yesterday, he came over and I gave him 2 slides of me taken in 1976 when I was about 25 that were supposed to be in a photographers portfolio. I'm doubtful it made it. LOL There is an old faded portrait picture taken in 1973 of me at age 22 hold my son at age 3. My hair was past my waist in the one with my son. That's about as hippie as I got in the 70's.

It's hard to believe these pics are over 30 years old. I don't feel that old until I see these.:p
