Hey all. :grouphug: to everyone here who needs it. I'm going to finish painting the rest of the living room today. I finished the upper walls yesterday.

Question: Jim's legs are so tight I couldn't even pull them apart. :yikes: Any suggestions on how to loosen them up? I've tried rubbing them to warm them up and that works a little but not this morning. I'd put him in the hot tub but I am afraid of him getting an infection. I wish I could get just his legs in it.

Have a good day and stay cool. I wont be on much because of the painting. Frank, sorry I had to rush off the phone. It wasn't the pizza gut, it was my neighbor. lol

Renee was supposed to call me last night after her ex picked up Olivia but she didn't. I hope everything is OK. This was the first time she has seen him since he bailed on her.

Sox, so glad to hear your wee one is adjusting.

Sarah, maybe you should call the doc earlier and let them know about your pain.

Weave, just . I am so sorry.

Hey Vonn, we're loving the cooler air. Whoohoo!

Trish, that is so sad. The insurance companies should be ashamed to refuse to treat this family. I cannot wait for November to get here! Argh.

Jenn, are you guys getting cleared out? Indiana has now been declared a disaster. That's Illinois, Indiana and now Ohio. That storm did a doozy on all of us.

Frank that dinner sounded so good. With all the kids in school , Ive
kinda gotten back to my everything is homemade thing. Im hoping I will
cut grocery bills but who knows.

Kelly....those bags sound great but I dont know if I could fit enough for
at least five people in them. Ill have to look for them.

My update: Ive been really busy dealing with my 5ds that doesnt want to
go to school. The good news is he finally ate a little lunch yesterday at
school:Dancing-Chilli: He has not touched his food at school:( But
the teacher says hes been participating so that is good.

Today was the first day that when I put him on the bus he wasnt sobbing
his little heart out. Anthony is a little stubborn....okay alot:o...so
I think its just going to take time. At least Im not a wreck like I was when
he was crying the whole day.:)

My other 16ds just got his license  so he has the car that my oldest
(who is at school) used to drive. Im not sure Im ready for this except he
is not over confidant(like his older bro:() so I know he is careful. The first
night he had the car he left the lights on for the night. I guess he wont
do that again because I didnt have time for a jump before he left for school
the next morn. So I had to drop him off when he probably told all his friends
that he would be driving his car. Im sure the "walk of shame" will be
a good deterrant for leaving his lights on. lol:D

Everyone have a lovely day.:hug::hug::hug:

Sox, sometimes if I have alot of one thing or large items (like corn) I just use two bags.

Little Anthony.....once he settles in (and for some kids it takes a couple of months) and sees that it's really fun, and that you are not going anywhere and will be there when he gets home....he will adjust. It's still not easy to send your child off crying. I remember Kevin went through a stage like that and I felt so mean sending him on anyway. Eventually he learned to like school and never did the crying thing again. Nothing can make you feel guiltier than that, though. Hang in there.

I wonder if there is something that he can help the teacher with (just him exclusively) or perhaps another student that's having a hard time...maybe she could ask him to "help" the other student so that he/she doesn't feel scared or alone. That will make him feel important and feel like he's contributing to his class. Just a thought...

Sandy - Have you tried warm moist heat? You can take towels and wet them in warm water with some Epsom salt and place them on his legs. That may be better than a bath for him. (I know, me and my Epsom salt. lol I swear by it though.)

Thanks! It is rough and my brother and his wife have always been there to help out. Truly, I cannot imagine the sorrow they feel. However, this couple has such strong faith in God and his plan for them, that they get through it all based on this faith. It is truly amazing and quite inspirational.

My brother and his wife are God parents to several of these kids, if not all. I just can't remember. LOL. I know they are to the 15 year old as she and my DD17 are friends and since they met several years ago they call each other God cousins. LOL

Jim used to love his Epsom Salt baths! I wonder if I put that in the hot tub would it lesson the chance of bacteria? Hmmmm.

I'm praying for that little boy, Tricia, and his family as well. I cannot imagine the worry and pain that whole family must be going through. That's one thing I'll never understand...why children must suffer. Whenever my kids were sick I'd pray for it to be placed on me instead of on them.....just can't stand to see them sick.

And I believe there is a special place somewhere very HOT for insurance companies that will not approve experimental treatments in the hope of saving a child's life.

I just talked (with a few tears) to my SIL and with her permission I am going to start a thread in the Spiritual Support forum.

Additionally, I didn't know this, the mom was diagnosed with melanoma and had it removed. However, she now has another melanoma type growth on her nose. She has been unable to get to the dr as she has been so busy with the little one. (So typical of us mom's:().

Of the 5 kids, 4 of them are my brother & SIL's and my sister & BIL's God children.:( This is taking a toll on the kids as well. The 15 year old (Megan) spends her weekend with my brother and SIL to "get away from it all." The 17 year old (Jordan) is amazing. She shared with me how when Brennen, the 1 year old, died Jordan did not want to leave the room as he felt he may never seen Brennen again. When Brennen did die, Jordan, who was 12 at the time, sat and held his dead little brother and just cried.

I woke up with slightly blurry vision and if I don't stop this it will be worse due to tears.:o

Anyhow, I will post the e-mail that my brother and his wife sent in the Spiritual forum - Prayers Needed for Caden Chapin.

I don't know either. I don't know if the salt would kill the harmful bacteria. Hmmmm, too. LOL

Trish my prayers and hopes are going out for the little fighter and his Parents...

Sandy, you can always use the micro wave to heat up the towels, what about rubbing alcohol, is it from the change of weather Sandy? Hey Jim, hope you feel better..

Sox sorry and lol i remember omg lol one was happy to go other was despondent, but nothing was as bad as one mom had, first day of school us parents are standing outside talking kids have been in for maybe 5 minutes, lol , and the door slams open and this child in blue shirt goes streaming by us parents screaming MMMMAAAAAAA MMMMMAAAAAA, you could not help but laugh a little it was so sad and heartbreaking, your child sounds like school is just a matter of time before the adjustment works out, hang in there mom
