Sarah who? I didn't know a woman was in the top 3 likely choices.

Wow! That's really something.

Will you post a link please?

I don't think so. Hillary wasn't picked to run for president just because of her gender. I'm sure that gender was a huge influence on McCain's choice.

Anyway, I'll have to read about her, I don't know anything about her.

Wow, this election might be interesting!

Default 5 kids, all interesting

she has 5 kids, with un-traditional names, her youngest has Downs Syndrome and is named Trig.

She is a life long member of the NRA, She hunts and fishes, loves the outdoors. I'll bet she does a lot for energy independence.

I really like this choice (so far)

Careful there, Earl, boy. This small-town girl happens to know where you live.

*goes to recruit jmiller*

Thanks for the link -- I think she's a good pick.

This is going to be a really interesting general election...I can't wait for the debates.
I thought last night's speech by Obama was one of the best political speeches I've ever heard.
Of course, growing up in Chicago, I know it's all a bunch of sheep...baaaaah.

As far as the age issue...

Obama is 45, Biden is 65 --- 20 years difference

McCain is 72, Palin is 44 -----28 years difference.

I guess if we want to compare ages we need to see the whole picture...Sue
