yeah Chemar I heard that just now too, Florida is already feeling this storm be careful everyone in its path and the aftermath (sp?) of it breaking up

We've had hurricanes reach Nova Scotia, before, and so my thoughts will be with everyone down south... hugs and take care

Oh no, a cat 5 is worse than Katrina. Seriously, anyone near the path leave now. Better to be safe than sorry. Praying for everyone.

It started out as a CAT 5 and by the time it hit land it downgraded to a 3.

Let's hope the same thing happens to this one. A cat3 is bad enough. My cousin lives in southern Mississippi and had to evacuate during Katrina. I haven't heard if she'll have to evacuate for this one yet.
