Good job of sticking up for your health care, Sandy/Jim!! I haven't been on for a few days...I hope that the outpatient works well for you...it's so hard to be away from home and getting treatment.
Take care of yourselves, and each other...my prayers are with you both...

BFF,

I am so glad the doctor is doing outpatient IV on Jim. I know he hates the thought of going to the hospital. He will be so much more comfortable at the hotel and it will be easier for you to watch over him.

I just hate that he feels so bad. I am praying that this will help him feel better.

Love and hugs to you both.

Your BFF:hug:

Jim told him that jumping to conclusions is not condusive to his health and the whole thing has him on edge.

So, looks like we're going in tomorrow in the morning, checking the tests again and talking to home health who also directs the outpatient IV therapy. He did mention they could suggest Jim be admitted but he said we'll cross that bridge when and if we get there.

Frank, we'll probably stay at the Red Roof Inn in Downers Grove. They just completely remodeled their hotel and it's pretty nice. They offered us a weekly rate and have a roll in shower accessible room. We used to stay at Extended Stay or Homestead but they have let their rooms get run down.

So, that's it. I'll update from the hotel or home tomorrow depending on when they start his IV.

I just want to update you guys. The flooding in our area is terrible so we're going to wait things out until it gets better. Plus, Jim woke up feeling really good today and we're beginning to think this is all ms related or the UTI is just running it's course. He also stopped taking the Marinol the doctor prescribed and he is now not feeling the fatigue as bad. That's one symptom down and explained.

Jim said he's starting to feel like a hypochondriac trying to decipher what is ms, what is a medication side effect and what is a symptom of UTI? What do we worry about, what is normal? We pray none of you ever have to worry like this. He takes so many meds and we're working on getting that down to a reasonable level.

I am going to stop updating for awhile because the going back and forth makes us confused and I am sure you all feel that way too. We're going to wait out the two more weeks of antibiotics and pray he continues to improve. You'd think after 20 years we'd have this down. :(

Thanks to all of you. Your support is appreciated more than you know.
