someone asked ages of my workers...range from age 18...to some that not sure..maybe in their 50s....and my other store there was a woman or two in their 60s....quite the range...

I feel the week should be fun, also my boss the owner did drop off envelope for my assistant manager and I....and it was a ty card, $20. and a candy bar...

I was in tears today talking to my brother in law....telling him he is more a brother..anyhow...read the thread..otherwise I will start crying again

OK....I've composed myself enough to tell you about my afternoon. We got several chores completed...I say "we" but Kevin actually did the physical work. He fixed my toilet (the flushing mechanism had broken) so I don't have to use the "men's room" anymore. Praise God! I was thinkin' the shrub in the backyard was looking pretty good....

I got a mini blind installed in my bathroom window. It's a stained glass window but it's 47" across and I'm not too sure how "fuzzy" the image of me is from outside. But it was creeping me out not to have a blind in that window. So that's done.

We bought a ladder at Home Depot so one of the boys can climb up and use the little attachment on the vacuum cleaner to clean the vents and the ceiling areas that get dusty. They can also hang the mirror I got for over the fireplace.

I also got some Windex Outdoor window cleaner. One evening this next week I'll get them to spray to windows on the house. They need cleaning and this looks like a good way to do it. You attach a hose to the bottle of cleaner...looks easy enough. We'll see!

Cindy, that sucks but totally understandable. ORD is far enough away from Aurora but you do have to take I294 a little way to get out here. For future reference you can cut over and hit I355 and avoid the ORD. I think you'd take I94 to 355.

We need to set up a GTG closer to MI soon. I told you Jim and I need to take a lighthouse tour. Why didn't that happen this year? Oh yea, not enough money. haha

Deb, it had outside tables but I don't think it had inside tables. There should be enough for us to sit outside, but if not we can tailgate Sonic style. lol

Hey guys! Was busy watching the race.... Uh, question???? Sonic's around here only have ''in car" drive in service and there is a few tables outside. What are you going to do if it rains?

Have'nt figured out for sure if I can do it or not. It's a few hour trip for me and I'm still nursing a sore back. I also don't like navigating Aurora.

DM, it's not supposed to rain but if it does we can shoot over to an indoor eatery if need be. There's a pretty good place at the outlet mall. hahaha

It's on the easy side of Aurora too so don't worry. No where near downtown Aurora. Take I88 to Farnsworth, turn right and go passed the outlet mall. The road will turn from Farnsworth to Kirk and Sonic is on the left.

I hope you feel good enough to come but if not we understand. We'll watch over you so you don't trip on anything.
