I work at a small Justice Court as a p/t clerk.
Once a month we have "Citizen's Day." This is when people who are contesting their tickets (i.e., they pled not guilty) can meet with our Deputy County Attorney to see if an agreement can be reached, rather than the case going to trial. About 3 months ago the county hired a new Deputy County Attorney. The ladies in our office weren't too sure about him initially. He must be feeling more comfortable now. While he was waiting for the copy machine today, he said, (and I quote): "Don't tell anyone this, but I actually like Citizen's Day more than Attorney Day. Sometimes people [citizens] will lie to you, but most of them are pretty honest. But almost ALL lawyers lie to you." Then, without a wink or breaking into a smile, he walked back into his office. Gotta like this guy.

ow... my *head* hurts!
Lemme work this one through, slowly. He's a lawyer. He says lawyers always lie. So, he's a truthteller. So he's both, at once? How can that be? oh, wait, I just noticed, in proper lawerly form, he *qualified* his statement with an "almost" Thus, we are to assume he's amongst the small percentage of lawyers who do NOT lie ? Okay, Twink, I DO like the guy !!

Easy does it Cayo! It's waaaay too hot in the jungle to be thinking that hard!
I think with your reasoning abilities you may have missed your calling: you shoulda been a lawyer!
