Morning. A little rundown this morning, but I've only had one cup of coffee - LOL!

got a lot of projects artwise that need worked on this weekend, as well as everything else. Trying not to be overwhelmed with all that needs done, and am trying to remember the mantra "baby steps, baby steps".

Hope everyone has a great day!

~~~~~~~~~
Vonn, getting a plan in place is cool.
Char, glad to hear the 'roids are working
Kay, sorry to hear about the ankle.
mornin' Frank and Char!
hope things are going WELL for my two favorite over-doers!
Kell, did you hear back yet?
Cindy, thinking of you this morning, holding you close.
Wiz, gee whiz, have fun cleaning the bathroom, I know I always do!
NaeNae, how's little Olivia doing? and is Dayton all recovered?
Sarah, it's good that your sister Madeline's passing was peaceful... and I'm so glad you got to go and have a good visit with her before she went.
Twink, it's cool that you got to see our caves on TeeVee!
Char, it's mega-cool that David's nephew visited here...
Debbie, how's Frank's leetle angel this morning? are your bug troubles clearing up? how is your son adjusting to being back home? is his black eye subsiding? and do you really believe that he hit it on a door? (I swear, when I worked at the women's shelter, that was what people *always* said...) that door sure gets around... (*sigh*) I hope that young woman didn't hit him, but the other things she did indicates it's possible, and it may be a long time before he's able to share all of his time away with you.
I don't have much time, but wanted to address the steroids with Char. I ALWAYS feel like total crud when I'm on them - very weak and wiped out with rubbery legs / arms. It takes me about 2 weeks to really feel the benefits. It seems like they tear you down before building you back up.
Also, I would like to state how much I advocate the Neti Pot for sinus issues. It is SO different than a nasal spray which would force stuff back up. Because of how it flushes the stuff out, it is getting it out not up. I saw a whole demonstration wiht Dr. Oz that sold me on it. Also, my SIL has had such great benefits and needs no sinus meds now when she gets a cold and has not had a single sinus infection since she started using hers that I swear I will use one the next time I get a bad cold. She swears that it cut her last cold in half - she really only had cold sx for a couple of days instead of a week or more.
Thanks Holly, that is just how my body reacts to them as well. It is about 10 days now and I am just starting to feel the relief. I hear so many people say how much energy they get with Steroids but not I, I seem to be just the opposite. Glad to know I am not the only one.
Good Morning everyone!!
It's a beautiful Saturday here but very windy. Gusts up to 30 mph!!
Well, I finally heard back from the Neuro's office. I actually had to call them on Friday because I had heard nothing. His nurse said he was in the other office but she would call him and get back to me before 5 PM. She called me back and said that he told her it had been 6 months since my last visit so I needed to come in and he would review my MRI with me then. So...I have an appointment on Monday at 1 PM.
I am still really dizzy and lightheaded. I have continued to take my LDN (3 mg) every night. I hope there's nothing new to report but if there is I'll just have to deal with it. I really don't want to go back on the Beta but if I have to I will.
I'll be sure and let ya'll know what transpires at the appointment on Monday.
I'm not doing much today. I sent Kevin to the grocery store this morning. He's already called me three times asking about stuff on the list. I finally told him to just surprise me!! I might be sorry I said that!
Matt has gone to the GA game. I think they are playing TN today. It doesn't start until 3:30 I think so he'll be late tonight - if he comes home at all. He usually stays at a friends house that lives close to Athens when he goes to the games. I really don't even want to know what goes on at that house on game nights!!
Ya'll have a great Saturday and if it's cold where you are....stay warm. If it's warm....stay cool. It's both here depending on what time of day it is. I can't wait for the cooler weather to get here and stay!
Hi all! You guys are really too busy for me! I am putting away all the deck furniture today and cleaning the cushions. Then tomorrow, the garden and backyard cleanup. I did the front when I mowed the other day. I may to weed a little too. Busy weekend!
I also have an appointment Tuesday to change the oil and check the airbags on the van. Onstar, which came free for three years when we bought the car, sent me a warning that my airbags may be faulty. I think it's the side ones that were disabled to accomodate the modifications needed to make it accessible.
I hope everyone has a good weekend and stays healthy. I care about all of you and worry like your family.
yes.
definitely!
I sometimes think that they decline people, on purpose, to see if they'll wade through the MAZE, meaning, to test if they're really out of other options, and truly disabled.
this is from another state, and in regards to another question, but it's interesting nonetheless:
Smoothing the Application Process
Most initial SSI and SSDI applications are denied, but if the decision is appealed, the likelihood of approval increases significantly. The first appeal is a written request for a reconsideration. If the reconsideration upholds the denial, subsequent levels of appeal include a hearing before a federal administrative law judge, a review by an appeals council and finally a lawsuit in federal court. The denial can be overturned at any stage of the appeal process.
