Tara........

To all who are lurking Happy Thursday!!

My Update: In a little while Im going to my ds16's doc for a talk about
alll the neuropsych and neurologist reports. They have said he cannot
return to his contact sports.:( He thinks he should chance it and play
and I should sign off the papers.:(

Its not happening, the psychologist said that if sports was the only thing
he could do then maybe take a chance. but with his high intelligence , he
could do anything and he should not take a chance after having 3 concussions
and suffering from pcs for almost a year.

Its really hurting me to watch him hurt. He even went to an indoor
lacross meeting the other day. He is going to really hurt when he finally
gets it. So please if you will say a prayer that he will understand finally
and that he will take it the best one can. Id really appreciate it. Im
dealing with this with both of my sons and its been very hard.

Thanks for listening................

Speaking of the south. My good friend Tom Hunt told me southern girls say "Ya'll come" and northern girls say "You all come." :D

Fixin to do something is a common phrase. Fatbacks are used on a daily basis and I do believe they would use it in coffee if they could get away with it. Me? I just add a slice or two of bacon to my pinto beans. ;) And do not forget, duct tape is a major repair item one cannot live without. :p

Over and out. :grouphug:

WHOOPS! I forgot to tell you! Renee called me yesterday with the worse day. She was having one of those days that make you want to crawl back under the covers. She then calls me back about a half an hour later and tells me she hit a deer! They are all OK but Olivia was crying because she thought the deer was hurt. Awwww. She said the day couldn't get worse and went off to bed.

Sandy, the only way I'd get on my MIL's roof is if there was a witness and someone to keep her occupied so she didn't climb up and shove me off!! :p She's just not a stable person and life's events over the past eight years have made it worse.
That's sweet of you to want to help her out.

LOL, we do say "ya'll come" and "ya'll come back now, y'here?". My Mom, who was the typical southern lady, used to say "how dooooo!" whenever she'd greet someone. I can still hear her today! :)

I use bacon when I don't have fatback, too. Sometimes it has more meat on it and the flavor is just better sometimes.

:D

Sox, I'm on it.

BTW, I am not going on the roof. I wont even go on my own roof. lol I am just removing the cable cord and attaching the antenna cord. Like Kitty said, she may push me off if I'm not looking! :yikes:

thanks Sandy.:)

Sox, Will keep DS in prayer

Char, Glad the class is almost over for ya.

Sandy, Hope you can get everything worked out for your mom. Thanks for the update on Renee.

Frank, MS blues is definitely not going, LOL. We have three pieces that are not for sale, and that's one of them. Finding acceptance and the one I made for hubby (spirit of the open road) are the others. Two of them are my "heart on a sleeve" paintings, so can't bring myself to part with them, even though I think they were my best ones.

Renee, Sorry to hear about what's going on. Hope things get better.

SandyC 10-30-2008 09:55 AM

Come on Char, you can solve that equation. I know you can.

Hint: First step is subtract x.

Coffee is a good answer though. lol

You and your DS are both in my prayers. He'll be upset at first but as he realizes that life is full of so much more for him he'll come around. It's hard in the meantime, though. I pray for strength for both of you. You're a good Mom, Sox, and he knows that, too.
