here I am...

been under the weather (lol!) in more ways than one...

lightning strikes, power failures, etc.

and my legs are behaving like cooked spagetti.

and I don't mean al dente, either!

I'm talkin' majorly limp, floppy, and halfway useless.

I was wishing for my motorized wheelchair doing feeding chores, but the batteries are dead... and nothing like them are sold here...

so, waiting for someone to bring me a pair, next month on a visit.

about the ATM cave, it's Actun Tunichil Muknal ~ Cayo

lol, like a bank ATM, *not* an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle), Twink !!

I haven't been there (yet), it seems a bit out of the range of my physical abilities at this time, but from all reports of pals, it's a fascinating tour.

I have several pieces of Cayo Red clay pots, found on my land, when digging the foundation... I have them cleaned and on display on my dresser.

they're pieces of a pots like the one in the third photo here:

Deb, sorry this has been a rough one for ya.

Vonn, LOL. If you're nuts, than so am I. :Crazy 2: It's great to see you've got all those projects brewing. :)

Kay, that cave looks great! Thanks for sharing the site. It's cool you have some of that pottery.

Had to take a quick run to the grochery store. Speaking of sinus issues, the hubby has had a bad run of them today. :( He's been napping on and off since around 2. So got some soup and meds for him.

I think dinner is going to be grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup in a little while.

Hope everyone has a good night. :grouphug:

Or.... :Ponder: we could ask flygirl if I still have time to transplant in zone five? I'm thinking it might be too late, but maybe she can clarify that? If so, I could come over this weekend if you aren't busy? We could have a mini GTG! :)

Hi Fin!

I think this is just sinus weather, we all seem to be getting it to one degree or another. I hope your hubby will feel better soon! What the heck is it in the air anyway, maybe leaf mold?

CayoKay 10-10-2008 06:14 PM

lol, since I've been "away" I had to go dig up the *old* thread, and find something I forgot to answer:

Thrish, Thrash, I was takin' a bath...
Long about a NeuroTalk night
Frish, Trash, just relaxin' on the path
Wishin' that my LEGS were all right

:hug::rolleyes::hug:

spagetti-leg syndrome (SLS) has earned me a sprained ankle this evening...

so, here I sit, with an ice pack on my elevated foot, moaning and groaning.
