Default Mario Kart IRL -- What a ride!

MarioKart: In Real Life!

I just got back from deer hunting with my DH. (Nope, just saw does).

I hadn't been on an ATV since the Evil Endurance Ride of 3 years ago, when DH took me on a 60 mile ride! Egad! It was supposed to be for FUN!

SIL left his 4-wheeler at our place, so DH and I each hopped on one and took off into the foothills about an hour before sunset.

I've lived here in central Utah for over 30 years and had never been on this trail. It only took us 5 minutes to get there! Sheesh, ya think I need to get outta the house more, or what?

I've driven over the Devil's Backbone on a 4-wheeler and this was worse!!!

Up, Down and Around. Speed up, shift up, slow down, shift down, lean to the left, lean to the right, stand up, sit down, etc. and again. The pics don't do it justice. Too dark to really appreciate the corkscrewiness of this crazy trail.

It was great fun, though. FYI, South Central Utah has over 900 miles of ATV trails!

I'm gonna pay for this tomorrow. Oh my aching wrists!

Now that looks like a fun challenge! Geewiz girl, you think you are 15 again??! At least you didn't have to worry if there was barbed wire hiding somewhere.... my poor nephew found it where he least expected it while riding his ATV.

GLAD YOU HAD FUN !!

HEY, RO !!!!

I have a project site that looks exactly like that and could use and a Quad driver to carry supplies to my biologists who are camping 45 miles from the nearest paved road in Blythe, CA.

Wannnnna Job ????

I am glad that you had a chance to experience the ride! It is always a blast to go out into the sticks and visit God's Country.

Kudos to you!

Vic, thanks for the job offer, but the commute would KILL me!

BTW, our little rural town has about 2,300 peeps. We already live in the sticks!!!

They stopped counting at 100. Most of the damage was to his legs. He was fortunate that a really skilled surgeon was in the ER that day. Thank God he was a smart kid and had on a helmet. 10 years later you can hardly see the scars. Now he's a daddy and his Mom and Dad are just waiting for him to get payback.
