Default For Hire: "TKS"

hi, I am moi...

I am a "Thread Killing Specialist"

If you should feel that you are the thread killer and would like to hire me to kill the thread for you, please send me a PM.

my payment is pretty simple: send me 2 ((HUGS)) and some big teeth >>>>

that will be all that's required...

PS, if you are thinking about hiring me to play with your kitty cat, that's a different type of thread...but I can be talked into almost anything...

OK...I am actually being serious about that...LOL

the reason why I posted this is that I see many people here that care...a lot of them I have gotten to know very well...

I also see folks that are intimidated or scared...and they fear that they might only have 2 views to their thread or 1 or no responses to their threads...

that happens and it can scare the poster away, sure....

the dynamics in the forums are unpredictable, there are times when I'd see a forum hopping and bopping for weeks and then, BOOM,it just dies down....

there are times when I'd see a thread take off and you'd think, go go go, and then boom, it just die down...

and of course, those folks that posted last when the thread dies often think of themselves as the "THREAD KILLER"

I can't agree with "THREAD KILLER" because I believe there is an end to all threads...although some of them do get a second or even third life sometimes, but really, one can only talk about a topic for so much...

If I was to start a thread: "Mosquitos are cute"

I cannot see that thread having a very long shelf life but I would post it anyways because it amuses me...

FORUM....when the Romans and the Greeks let their folks have a FORUM to go to, it was to let them have a voice....

it is very important to have a voice....we are very lucky in this day and age to have a cyber forum to VOICE....

please do NOT let silences intimidate you...you are here for a reason....you NEED support and a lot of folks WILL be here to support you....

I am suggesting one to NOT count numbers of views, replies, or being the "Thread Killer" bother them but to let one's voice out....

and if you feel like you've killed a thread, I am serious, send me a PM, I'd very gladly be a thread killer for you....for I talk a lot of none sense anyways and nobody pays me any mind...LOL

first and foremost, this is a neurological forum....neurology is a hard nut to crack....mental health is a hard nut to crack...if anyone has the answers, we wouldn't be here in the first place....

please post, please speak...please let us support you...newbies, oldies, don't be scared....get your feet wet...

I am not preaching, I understand because I grew up thinking I was alone in a crowded room....but I don't anymore....I hope you'll feel at home here at NT...

((((()))))

good topic.

Remember that the "views" number can include guests, search bots {quite a few of those-constantly}, and other members that may not be comfortable about replying if they aren't familiar with the topic.

so don't take those numbers as anything personal or negative.

Also, remember that it count you EACH time you check the new replies. Even after you have replied.

It counts each person over and over, who is reading the replies.

Views is just a number and has no real meaning. Just something that comes with the software. Like spellcheck...I don't bother with that one either.

I like to think of myself as a thread killer. At least that way I have a job and it sounds kind of dangerous.

But seriously, I do sometimes feel like a thread killer but I've learned it's not me, it's just the end of the conversation and time to move on.

I've been a thread killer a time or two in my life. I became used to it and like living on the edge of wonder. LOL

MOI, now wait I want to go back to the starting a thread on how cute mosquitos are, I think we could get a few pages on that!!

seriously, good topic, when I was newbie to sites like these, those numbers or not many replys gets me...and sometimes I have to remind myself if no replies, maybe not the right people on the topic got to read and respond.

anyhow, all know we are here, and the numbers do not matter, hoping all find support and info and hugss here, hugsss all, sarah

hmmmmm, sarah, ya think "mosquitos are cute" will get to 4 pages?? I bet you get one response, moi... LOLOL

karousel, too funny...I know I've killed many threads but I have never believed in "thread killing" anyways...so I never noticed that I was killing it...there was a thread rescuer started by kimmydawn a long time back and who knows, maybe it'll get bumped up one day again...

Sandy, toi, a thread killa?? Nah...more like a running from killer bee runner, I've seen the photos...you can't deny that...

truth be told, I thought I'd open some doors with this thread because maybe someone was thinking about it and didn't felt comfortable enough to talk about it...

and maybe it's the "Mother" in me opening up lately, I been feeling a lot of cramps lately ever since I've been hanging out with the grandkids...maybe my progestrone/estrogen level is up, I swear I was the one that asked my wife the other day, "Honey, do you think my butt looks fat??"

PS, and now I am here killing my own thread...mwahahahahah....
