Default History Channel series

I was flipping through the channels looking for something to watch, and came across the History Channel's series "The States". Each episode (an hour) features five states. I might order the DVD set. It's wonderful!

I've only seen parts of two episodes, but besides the fascinating history, they make every state look like a wonderful place to live, even states where I wouldn't live if they paid me by the hour.

I've seen Idaho, North Dakota, Michigan, Alabama, and now they're in Tennessee. WSM. Graceland. The Smokies. I love it. You ought to watch this.

I turned it on a couple of hours ago, just in time to see the bit about Utah! I hadn't realized we'd had a governor (or was he a mayor?) who set the world ground speed record at Bonneville Salt Flats!
