Default Thank you

Remember when families lived near each other, instead of spread out everywhere?

What kinds of "remember when" do you remember?

My oldest son got a new cell phone that does just about everything. He was showing me last night how he can get his email, surf the "Net", make and receive calls and texts...pretty much everything he does on the PC.

I was telling him that when I was his age (25) we didn't have a cell phone, we didn't have a computer, if you were out somewhere and needed to call home you had to stop and use a pay phone (how much are pay phones now, anyway?) and GPS was unheard of. He just sort of looked at me like "how on earth did you survive?".

I sort of liked it back then. Uncomplicated and simple.
