Remember when the adults would remember when about the depression and WW2?

I remember filling up a gas tank in a Vista Cruiser for $5. Riding my bike to a friends house, or even into town, and my mom not worrying. Using Black Jack gum to make your teeth "disappear". Mr. Rogers. And, for those of you around the Seattle area, JP Patches.

Remember when TV went color?

Frank, those are the coolest toys. We had them and hours of fun playing with not only the Tinkertoys and Pick Up Sticks but Erector Sets, Lincoln Logs, blocks, etc.

Remember when we had to use our imagination and be creative with not only the toys I mentioned but with our every day play? We used blocks to make roadways for the Matchboxes and Hot Wheels. We used sticks, branches, what ever we could find outside for the town as well as, me being a girl, making little houses for my Little Kiddles to "live in."

BTW - My parents have Tinkertoys, Lincon Logs, blocks and puzzles at their house for the little grandkids to play with. They do have some puzzles and cars to play with as well.

We did that, too, Tricia!! We'd use pinestraw and sticks to divide and make the "rooms" of the houses. We'd play outside for hours (literally) doing this.
