Thanks for this suggestion. I have been doing this for the past couple of days. We will let you know what we get, if anything.

I am definitely going to have to try this. As I read through the posts I was making a mental list of what company's I would want coupons/products from.

Additionally, I have often thought of writing to Dove not necessarily because of their products, which I have never used, but their ads showing real women in real shapes. I think it is awesome.

Thanks, Mel for the idea/suggestion. You're a doll!

Oh you are quite welcome. I get a big kick out of helping others. And today we got a free tube of Sensodyne toothpaste. I've got about 10 free coupons and loads of $1.00 coupons and everyday brings a new SOMETHING in my mailbox. It's so much fun. Oh, (and this is funny), the mail arrives today and there's a box from Juicy Juice. I get all excited thinking that Alan wrote to them. I know I didn't.

Well, we open up the box and there's a sippy cup in it. Alan says "what is this?" and I laughed and said "It's a sippy cup"

He goes "Oh, I'll take it with me when I go back to the gym".

I said "not if you want everybody to laugh at you". The nurse was with us (he was getting his infusion). Alan says "what the heck is a sippy cup"?

Yeah, it's been THAT long since I've had a kid.

lol

P.S. I gave it to the nurse.

I know this is an old thread, but I thought I'd reply to this one rather than starting a whole new one for myself.

Recently DH and I tried a new product, and I liked it so much that I thought I'd write to the company and tell them. I just used their email address and sent it that way.

Well, I'm so glad that I did. A couple of weeks later I got a box full of goodies in the mail. This is what they sent, and they were all full size products.

*Salad dressings
*Mustard
*Tomato Sauce (ketchup)
*Heaps of casserole bases (about 6 different ones)
*Rice
*Marinades
*and gravies.....(my favoirite was the roast beef with red wine gravy)

I really didn't think it would happen, so I'm just letting you know that what Mel has told you is absolutely true.

I'm now waiting to hear back from another company that I wrote to. :o

Braingonebad, Your Mustang post made me laugh. We have a 1978 Mustang in the garage. I'm sick of it being there however  We could use the room for one of our other four cars.

I sent an E-mail to V8 praising their product, long ago, but they never sent anything. I drank one EVERY day when pregnant. Thinking it might help to have the extra vitamins. I knew at least it wouldn't hurt. (Yes, I did get sick of it. But no more.)

At least it can't hurt Carrie.

When I first read about the gifts that Mel received I didn't really think it would happen here where I live, but it did. Now I've written to a second company praising their products. I'll let you know if I hear from them.

Trust me, if I do happen to get a reward, I'll be writing a letter a week to different companies.

So far I only looked at 2 different websites on the back of products. There are plenty more websites tucked away in my pantry cupboard! :D
