I'm not sure... possibly, maybe, perhaps?
:D got the bed all made, everyone fed and put to sleep, took my shower, and now about to eat dinner... today was a lovely perfect day, sold half a dozen chickens, and had 9 visitors for the holiday... and I never got my nappy, whoops !! I'm probably going to fall ASLEEP, face-first in my dinner, lol. :p |
That's ok if you fall asleep in your dinner...when you wake up, your face will just be closer to the plate. lol
Enjoy your guest. |

Sarah, sorry about having to work a double. You know what I used to do when someone called in? I said "Oh that's too bad about your car. Why don't I come and get you and you call for a rental or ride to get home?" lol
Trish, I am so sorry I didn't call you back the other day. Please forgive me. I just listened to your message and remembered you called. I was so busy getting ready for the party it slipped my mind. |
Hugs to you, Sarah, I hope you're snoozing soundly right now, or at least snuggling in bed with sweet little offspring.
That was the big disadvantage of my job. Bob would say, "I wish you didn't have to work tomorrow, you're already exhausted." And I would say, "Nobody else can, and I'm the boss. I have no choice. It's part of my job." Even when I had the day off, it was always in the back of my mind that the phone might ring, and someone say "I'm sick and have to go home" or "there's a problem with the equipment" or such. I was never really "off". Many's the time I was in my jammies, feeling lousy, and I'd get "the call" and start suiting up. Now I'm off. Hope you get rested today. |
