I must admit that I always look forward to the first few freezes...just to get rid of the flying critters...esp the mosquitoes...

I don't mind the winter...cold and snow means I get to slow down. Can't take a road trip to see the Olhipie's parents since my surgery. I'm a little nervous about driving that far yet. Would have to stop all the pain killers a day before...not ready to stop them for anything yet.

Sandy, not sure if I understand your hose problem. We keep at least two hoses going all winter long so we don't have the well freeze up on us...

We finally got snow this past Saturday...about 6 inches...might be skiing soon...Olhpie is driving me nuts about finding out if the resort closest to us is open...

Kay- I'll forgive you if you mail me a warm winter. Just kidding. You are more than welcome to mail me a warm winter though.

Frank- I'm kinda pleased with myself for landing the job. I think the grin on my face is gonna be there for a while. Even DH's carp can't seem to turn it down much or for very long. I'm sure that will change but I'm gonna enjoy it while I can.

DebbieD- I'm trying to gather up everything I need or might want for my first day today so I don't have to think about it in the morning. I live 5 minutes from work but plan to allow 10 minutes to get there.

well I love cold..weather...but there is cold then there is frigid...and today it is fridgid..tonight low of -5 or so and windchill all day been -15 to -25 degree..burrrrrrrrr

Have to head out tonight in the cold too, Mikayla has a choir concert tonight, I was gonna take at least Maddie..as she loves music and could be quiet I think...but sooo cold..think I might just go me....just me..sitting there...quiet at a concert...hmmmmmm

Having some coffee now...very sore in body from last few days...actually hubby said last night while I was sleeping I kept shaking my legs..and moaning like I was trying to get them to stop hurting...or stiffness pain stuff....I guess I had him awake most the night...thinking of my ailments... dont like him worried..

anyhow, the next few days are cleaning a bit, and baking cookies..cookies cookies....think a few of you tried my cookies last year..hehe

Since I am off three days though, and behind on business stuff I have wanted to get done...the not on feet stuff...I might go in tomorrow at some point and do some work..but maybe at night when hubby working too..so I have all day with babies...then off Wed and Thursday as usual...next week off Tuesday, Wed and Thursday...yeahhhhh

Well, I did a Frank tonight when I gave myself my injection...I left the red cap on the autoject...couldn't figure out why the autoject wasn't working...and why I didn't feel the bee sting when the medicine goes in...then I realized I left the cap on...

going to see the neuro in a few minutes, then hope to get some shopping done before the snow flies...

ok enough on that note...
sun is out..but we are in a severe weather alert overnt thru today at noon...due to windchills...way low..surprised they had school..as here sometimes they cancel for way low windchill amounts...and it is a freezing...drove the two girls to school. I didnt send Ciara on the bus today, she is on my lap...she doesnt like to keep hats on her head..and with the longggg bus ride..didnt want her without hat that long...with the weather.

Maddie is up in bed with daddy, she was suppose to go to drs today at 8am but she didnt fall asleep till way late...I didnt ahve the heart to pull her from our warm warm bed..to put her in snow suit and out in the cold...for a checkup...I called and will reschedule.

later I am meeting with my assistant manager...she and I have been planning on meeting up outside of work..to visit..and talk about plans for 2009..and trying to revamp what needs revamping...get her ideas ...

not much else...trying to stay warm in the house...this house is old..and gets way cold...should get the plastic stuff for few windows...it helps at my parents house.
