Make that 3 of us! :D

My doctor has decided I need a gastroscopy as well. I have an appointment in January with the Gastro Eneterologist to discuss it but if I have any say in it, the discussion will be me trying to talk him out of it.

Why couldn't I have had it done at the same time as my colonoscopy 3 weeks ago I asked........the answer was that the enterologists here only specialise in one area, so one doc will do the top end, but not the bottom end, and vice versa!

Good luck ladies. I hope you both get good verdicts from your procedures. :grouphug:

Thanks to all of you...

NaeNae...I'm not sure they would let us both near each other...it would cause such a rukus.lol Well, could you imagine if it was three of us.

But hey, if you both think you can make it...lol still waiting for a date to get it done.

Frank... here in this town, they'd just join in! lol People are very friendly here and still ask if you need help even if they don't know who you are. :)

Doctor's offices have nice people working and they are always on the look out for a good time at work. However, their patients do come first...its a good thing.

Try not to worry about the procedures. They won't be that bad. It is the waiting and worrying that are tough. You certainly don't want to cause more trouble for your stomach and exofagus . Acid reflex can and must be treated. If it is acid reflex, there is medication to treat it. I hope you will be OK very soon.:smileypray:

OTJ...thank you, I'm not that concerned with the procedure or the outcome. Life gives us what it gives us...and I have this cocktail I take to help with the pain for now. I can at least eat once a day as compared to not eating at all. lol

Moi...thank you, I have been through quite a bit on this adventure of life. Through the process, I've learned worrying will kill you quicker than hard work...so I work hard on things so I don't worry. lol

I hope I can get in before Jan, but then someone needs to have it done just as bad as I. If no one cancels I will just use one of the other facilities...equipment at this one is supposed to be better according to the dr. A light at the end of a scope is still a light at the end of a scope. lol
