Another year over, another year gone
as i see Guy Lombardo sing that song
some say big deal its just another day
to a degree they are right so what to say
your right its Thursday that's true
but the number of year is anew
so as you sit and remember days of past
remember as each year passes those memories last
filling our hearts and souls from days ago
with friends, loved ones and others we know
yes it can be a sad moment as you lament
but then you smile as you think of the times spent
together again with smiles so bright
their memories are a guiding light
so as we gently lay 2008 to bed
may thoughts of peace fill your head
as the clock strikes that hour and you cheer
May I wish you all peace love and joy this brand new year
