LOL! Memories. I really think I was a slow learner on somethings as a kid. I did the tongue thing only once but the hands, sheesh, . . .LOL.

When I lived in MO we went to a Catholic school. On our way to mass one Friday morning, I decided to lick my hand and put it on the railing on the way in to the church to see what would happen and if the railing was cold enough to make my hand stick. DUH? LOL Had to pry my hand off while getting in to trouble for lagging behind in line. LOL Hey, give me some credit, I was only in 2nd grade. I think I had to sit next to the teacher that day as she knew, me being a social girl, would have discussed the experience throughout the entire mass with my "neighbor."

Is it cold?? lets just say school was cancelled today!! THAT COLD burrrr

I went up with mom to visit dad yesterday, he was doing well, I dont like hospitals. The one nurse said something about walking him again in afternoon, never happened then she left shift...new shift on, nurse comes in does his vitals (first time all day since I had been there) I mention the walking, she has to do rounds first dinner, then she said she will get him up again. (he was up in morning before we got there for first walk)

well, I said, if he isnt taking the walk now for a while again, do you think the leg things should be back on, since off since we were there...(the leggins that squeeze and help circulation) so she put them on.

I am not a dr but I am playing one when there visiting. HE is on the 8th floor...ortho/neuro floor. Like some others post surgery. They are busy there I guess...

anyhow..he is good, today should be when he gets a pathology report..and hoping to get the info for mom. she might not go up today, but hubby and I are going up for a visit. also my yuonger sister will be up for a visit to him too.

hugssss all, ahhhh this bitter cold,

oh here is maddie baby, ggg g gggggggggggg g g g gggggggggggggggggggggggggg gggggggggggg

Morning, everyone...
Sheesh, I can't remember what everyone posted already! Let's see..
Sarah, sorry your dad isn't getting the right attention. Guess you'll have to get snippy with the nurses...
Trish, congrats on DD...try to keep buttons from busting...
Fin, take care going to appt...and Barb, you need to get power steering fixed...sorry, no parts for legs
Kelly, crackers, jello, and broth for you, as well as sprite or ginger ale. Take care...
Sandy, I forgot to list what school I'm taking the MT course...it's MTec.

God, it's so hard. I'm an English major, and I can't remember junk like independent clauses and all of that carp...who cares anyway? I have done some practice transcription, but then get bogged down by reading all of the transcription tips, etc. Blech! And then I get overwhelmed and start crying when I think to myself that I'll never remember all of this stuff...I'd like to withdraw, but my DH has already put out a lot of $$ for this for me...this depression isn't helping...just want to sleep all day...

Anyway, hope everyone has a great Thursday...those of you in cold climes, stay inside!

Sarah, I've had to do that at hospitals too. They are so understaffed these days that sometimes they forget the little but important things.

Trish, cool news about the award your DD is getting. Rest up so you can enjoy the ceremony.

Barb, sorry to hear the spacicity is acting up for ya. I'm not sure why the cold does that to some of us.

Debbie D, Totally understand where you're coming from. I'm a math person, and get frustrated when simple equations escape me. It may take longer to get the hang of stuff than it used to - I know it took me 6 months to get the basics down pat at my last job. Hang in there!

Frank, Did I hear you say Rum????

I went back to bed and slept till 11:15 AM! I feel better now but think what I have is a bladder infection. My Neuro called in an Rx for Bactrim for me without me even having to come in! Think he doesn't want to see me??!! I was sorta snippy last time because he kept acting like I was exaggerating my sx. I finally told him I didn't need to exaggerate them.....and I wasn't there for his personal opinion...I was there for his expertise in MS and maybe I should start looking elsewhere. Yes, I was hurting and he was not being kind.

LOLOLOLOLOL

I just called hubby about that!

He drinks those energy drinks. Has his coffee. Some of his supplements have caffiene or like it.

I told him if he thinks I have griped at him..he was halucinating.

Barb~Maybe that student was so intrigued by your lecture that she was texting it to someone else!

Sandy-thanks for sharing those beautiful pictures. I must get out of bed and look out my own windows. Since I live in Iowa, my view is the same here! But I just LOVE snow pictures. I tell my Grands, "Look what a great artist God is!"

Love and gentle hugs (or huge juicy ones, take your pick), Grandma Sue

P.S. If anyone needs some grandmothering, just PM me. I will tell you that you are my very favorite one out of the whole bunch and ask you if you need $20. Grandma Sue
