For you folks in Arizona and New Mexico: It was -31 at our house this morning, -42 six miles away in Island Pond, and -45in Sutton, about ten miles from here. But it's a DRY cold, so you don't mind it.

and it was a mere minus 22 here well it is now, so who knows we may of dipped a wee bit further

neither car wanted anything to do with starting, but they did, thank you car karma gods

and garbage is done lazy whelps I live with lol even i agreed forget the garbage the garbage man will be happy one less stop in this carpadm weather

Hi everyone else. Hope you all have a good day and stay nice and warm.

Get this - We didn't go to the awards ceremony last night as DD17 came home and said she just had too much homework and studying to do. While she wanted to go, she felt that it was better that she stay home and do her homework as that was more important. Go figure. Yup, that's part of the reason she was getting this award. LOL

Looks like another mellow day for this body. The MS vise grip turned up a notch with some burning and tingling. I will be nursing that today in hopes that it doesn't get out of control and praying I am not heading in to a flare. School starts next week and that is not how I want to start the semester.

The school also needs to get my financial aid straightened out. Otherwise they will drop me from the classes! I will find out more today when I call them. Wish me luck.

Are you taking online courses or will you actually go to the school? What are you taking? I must have missed the posts about this!!

hows the garbage disposal kel lol wake up now! lol trish what you doing up so early lately? did ya move back to the midwest to be with us in our cold hours?

The 2 classes that I wanted to take were canceled due to low/no enrollment. So I opted for refresher classes in Business English and anatomy & physiology. Both will help with my transcription as well as my love of science.

The English class is taught at the school and is a little more than an hour long. I can sit for that long and do OK. The anatomy & physiology class is a self paced class taught by textbook, online, and in the Biology lab at the school. It is a great combination for me.

Should the school not get my financial aid information by next Friday, I will be automatically dropped from the classes. I have been working with the school all week about this. My FASFA report does have the correct school on it and FASFA says the report is available online to the school.

Frank - I am always up this early. It's nearly 7:00!

MY UPDATE: a little shopping to do....I think Im getting a cold and my right
foot has felt frozen solid to the point of pain this past week. weird thing
is...it feels toasty warm to the touch. I cant wait for this cold to go away,
its supposed to be 20 degrees tomorrow, yahooo.

Okay folks I read far more posts than I thanked but don't remember any of them.

I thought for sure I was going to pass myself at the front door yesterday at lunch time. I didn't but it was close. DS had a two hour school delay which tossed a monkey wrench in my machinery. Scrambled to get myself prepared for the day, took him to school early so I could hopefully be at work on time. I was. Worked two hours then ran home, inhaled some lunch and ran back out the door for DD's first day back at homeschool co-op. The crochet class I am teaching went well. Once co-op was over for the day it was time to amble over to DS's school and wait for his after school detention to be over. Came home to discover DH home early. He was in a civil mood, much to my relief. Nuked leftovers for supper and went out for some groceries afterwards. Put them away when I got home, collapsed under the bed covers and fell asleep with the TV on.

I work this morning and will get more groceries after lunch.

Will reimburse anyone for shipping costs if you mail me some warmth. Will really make it worth your while if you just send me the whole spring season.

Gotta get ready for work and don't have a thing to wear. I really really need to get some new slacks. I loathe shopping for them.
