Default A new "hipper" Moose

Moose,
My good friend has had 2 count 'em two hip replacements [both on the same side.] She suffered from hip degeneration since birth. She had the first when she was around 35 and had to have that one replaced due to excessive wear. She had broken her ankle on her 'good' side and that cause excessive wear on the artificial hip.
Her mother also had one and regretted the fact that she waited so long to have it done.

Rehab is tough but well worth it to be pain free. Look at Penn State's football coach Joe Paterno! He had one done and is using a cane only a few weeks post surgery and this man is 82!!

Best of Luck to you and keep us informed.

Moose I don't have anything to add that hasn't already been said, except that you're in my thoughts and prayers. Keep us posted.
