Look at this website and tell me what you think.
I watched 60 minutes last night and they had a fascinating segment about Resveratrol. Then I looked it up on the internet and found this gem of a website. They seem to think this is the fountain of youth. Now I know I can't drink 1000 bottles of red wine a day to turn on my survivor gene and live to be over 100. but hey, if I ever win the lottery, I can buy Logevinex. give a look!! http://www.longevinex.com/

What do you think of Logevinex? And, since you do take Resveratrol...do you see a noticeable difference in your health? Thanks, Melody

click on the link (re logevinex), and you'll see they have a video on this website. It explains how and WHY we age. It also says that we don't have to get ailments, diabetes, arthritis, etc. That there are monks who NEVER GET CANCER, any ailments and live to ripe old ages and die in their sleep. These monks eat no red meat, eat lots of veggies and drink red wine. Why THAT'S WHAT I DO (except for the red wine) lol I found it VERY interesting.

I have people related to me and they ate anything and everything and drank some and smoked and lived to be a healthy ripe old age. That had a lot to do with their genes.

I think genetics pre-determine what will happen to us. Every time I go to the Accord Program and some new guy asks me this question: "Did anyone in your family have diabetes". And I say 'well, I got it because I used to weigh 300 lbs, but my father got it when he was 80 (due to meds they gave him), and my grandmother got it at 79) (don't know why, she was maybe 30 lbs over what she should have weighed), ....well, ABSOLUTELY every doctor has said the following to me: "You have a family history of diabetes, it's genetic". I look at them. I did the research. On my mom's side of the family 90% of them had some form of cancer in various stages of their life. They ALL smoked by the way. ABSOLUTELY ALL OF THEM. My father's side had no cancer but had heart stuff going on. But they lived LONG lives. So my theory is "we are made up of dominant genes, recessive genes, mutated genes, ALL KIND OF GENES'. We also have markers. Now I'm figuring that I probably have the markers for cancers. I mean, EVERYBODY ON MY MOM'S SIDE HAD CANCER of some form or another. My grandmother had leukemia (but she got this when she was in her 70's. So why some people get it younger and others don't, well, I would have to think about triggers. Since I believe this way, I don't want to put any triggers in my body. That's why I eat the way I do, no one has smoked in my home, etc. I now make the majority of my food from stuff I grow. I am also making home-made yogurt. I try to do whatever I can do so my diabetes doesn't win. If I succeed, then I succeed. I have a found great hobby in growing stuff in my kitchen. Of course most of the people I know think I'm nuts and wouldn't eat a sprout if their life depended on it, and believe me, they would not go near yogurt. But that's their choice. I like the way my stomach feels eating this way. I get my fiber, my protein and whatever else is in these sprouts. And I have a nice hobby that saves me moolah!! And you should see my sprouts when I put them near the windowsill and give them just a bit of sunlight. Oh my god, you can see them turn green right in front of your eyes. So maybe I can turn off a few bad genes and hopefully turn on some GOOD ones!!! One can only hope!! lol

resveratrol is useful... but not to the extent they claim.
This is not the only fancy age-defying product. Juvenon is another. My take on resveratrol is that it may keep your cardiovascular system more healthy--less inflammation in the lining of blood vessels, and hence less athersclerosis. I don't expect to "feel" much. It is not like a drug you know. I've only been using it since I started the d-chiro inositol. Both only for about a month. Too soon to tell much.

It's always the rich ones. But the resveratrol is GOOD for diabetes, right? I am thinking of clicking on that link and getting some. Well, I clicked on the iherb link and read ALL THE REVIEWS. Seems very good. One person said you need to take Quercetin because it's a buffer for the liver. What is this, and why do you need a buffer for the liver (re resveratrol)? thanks much Melody

I saw that the other night. I had one question: if you're allergic to red wine, will you be allergic to that too? I get killer migraines from red wine, much to my dismay.
