I just watched the news and saw the devastating aftermath of the tornadoes in Oklahoma.
Has anyone heard from Becky? She hasn't posted much lately but I know she lives there. I believe the worst damage was in Edmond, just outside of Oklahoma City. I pray that all our Oklahoma members are safe.

I hope Becky and everyone else out there is okay. DM, you keep your eyes peeled too. You know the weather form out there heads to us sooner or later.

I'll call Becky in a bit and see how she is. If someone else gets a hold of her first please update.

The tornadoes were west of me about 4 miles and traveled north about 7 miles. Thank God they weren't moving a few miles east or the city would have been torn up. The weather got bad so fast that it was sunny when I got in the shower and pitch black when I finished.
The sirens were going off and on but I was watching the weather on TV and watching my cat. He knows when the weather is bad and is a good indicator of how close it is. My friend Kay and her husband live a few blocks from the big damage in western OKC. My friend Susan works north OKC and some windows blew out of the office building. The really big homes damaged in Edmond are about 10 miles north of me. My landlords son and daughter live there but escaped damage. I haven't been on NT in a while and I haven't felt good. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoporosis right before Christmas. I started taking once a month Actonel. Thank you all for checking on me.

Becky, I'm so sorry things aren't going any better for you. It's so hard when our parents get older and need attention. It's even harder when we ourselves need attention, too. Just seems like there isn't enough of anyone to go around. I hope your Dad responds to the PT and feels better. I hope you feel better, too. Arthritis is such a cruel disease. My Grandmother had it and I saw what it did to her. Thanks for checking in and letting us know you're alright. I'm glad the storms didn't cause you any damage but so sorry for all the others that were affected. You're in my prayers.

We had it rough here in Texas too. One hit just a few miles from me, real close to the gym.
Vicky...Feelingoofy who posts mostly on SOS checked in last night. She is south of OKC.

Thank goodness that you're safe Becky, Curious, and Goofy. I pray others are as well. I saw on our news this morning that 15 people have lost their lives.
Gosh, bush fires and floods here, tornadoes in the US and an earthquake overnight in Indonesia. What has happened to the world?

Thinking of you all and praying for you, who may have been affected by the tornados.
They are also having the worst snow storms in Britain for 18 years...........yes the world seems a little upset at the moment.
