Default I'm baaaack....

Hi everyone

Well it's been a heck of a few days. Haven't been able to get online since Friday night and it's all your fault. Seems as though you are all so interesting that I exceeded my monthly allotment for hours!! This is the first time that this has ever happened to me. BUT this actually turned out to be good news because I told my brother what was "not" happening and that I was having trouble reaching tech support (another unusual event). I guess I must get really b*tchy when I can't find out what is going on in our little worlds because today he signed me up for a year with Earthlink.

Of course, now I'll have to take back all the negative things I've said about him over the course of time. So, just to make it official, my brother is GREAT!

Welcome back, Trekker!

But I'm a little confused. Why did you have a monthly allotment in the first place? I thought that as long as you had internet access, there was no limit to the amount of time you could spend on the web?

Sorry Idealist I didn't mean to cause confusion.

My ISP only cost $5 a month. I love it. It is very reliable and basic....not a lot of bells and whistles that they are trying to sell me constantly, just reliability. Their allotment is quite generous and as a rule I've had no problems with the time. Between trying to establish myself here and going back to OBT to see old friends and get access, hopefully, to the archives I just overdid it. I also have a problem in that if hubby is making suspicious noises I run into his room...many times not taking the time to log off. If he sneezes and can't breathe because his nose if full then I must respond instantly...he also needs to be suctioned but can only be when he coughs the "junk" up...again I need to move like Supergirl (LOL). Most dial-up ISP's have a limit of some sort at least the ones I explored.
