Unhappy It's not the Sears Tower anymore
Sears Tower, the name given from the start has been renamed the Willis Tower. They bought the tower and decided to change the name.

Is there nothing sacred anymore?

They can "change" the name, but it will always be the Sears Tower.

That's true. Kind of like when they changed Cominsky Park to US Cellular. I will always call it Cominsky. Now if they ever change Wrigley I am done. lol

thats like here its not the grand ole opry anymore technicaly its the gaylord since they bought it out.!!!!
i will still call the it the sears tower tho but its true everything has a price.

This reminds me.... 5/3 Bank helped 'my' city build a new baseball field so guess what those ppl did? Yes...it was named "5/3 Field". Yuk They of coarse have a big 'ad' going round & round high above the entrance, with the name.

Not the Sears Tower too!!!!

They changed The Mark of the Quad Cities to The I Wireless Center a few yrs ago and I will never call it anything, but The Mark. (huge concert center) Money talks!
