Default My Weber's Parrot Tulip bulbs were shipped today :)

I am so happy. Maybe this will give me the oomph I need to totter around in the garden a bit more.

I also have some really neat crocus coming that look like water lillies, I am really excited about them!

And yesterday my fig came. It's a "petite" black fig that I'm supposed to be able to grow in a container. I have wanted a fig for over 30 years!

I got a really lovely pot for it, and I hope it is happy.

It was a little more tiny than I expected...

I got an avocado tree some months ago, that is supposed to produce quite a lot of avocados after 18 months. It was larger than the fig when it arrived. It's been thriving, once it got itself some new leaves that were able to cope with the intense sun here.

What are your favorite plants?????

Do you love plants and gardening?

Do I love plants and gardening? NO
All I want is a nice condo -- a nice condo surrounded by CONCRETE.
I want no more grass. I want no more plants. I want no more gardening.
DH had today off so we headed into town early to buy exactly one dozen 50 lb bags of humus (and two 50 lb bags of sand --- that's a different story). We got the humus home and started spreading it thinly over the lawn, raking it in.
DH has tomorrow off and we're heading back into town to repeat the humus buy --- that's all my little pick-up can carry at one time. We'll do it again Saturday ~groan~
When - oh when - will I get those dozens and dozens and dozens of daffodils planted? What about the tulips? And those ....................

Oh please, where is that concrete??

Very, very cute.
You had me going!

When I was a Realtor years ago...
we used to say that the way to tell if a person was a man or woman, without looking at them, was to show them a house with a big back yard...
and if the person said, "I can put concrete in here."
Then, it's a man.

It was always amazing to me that men tended to see ground as a place to put concrete.

I love your post!!!!!!!!

I have 20 daff bulbs here, they were giving them to early orders at Parks.

They are mixed, though... so I'm not sure how to "arrange" them...

Thank you for making me smile!
