I've posted the link to your original post about Senior Citizen's Day being put on the calendar.

I think it's a good idea....please don't go by the number of replies your got versus the number of views the thread got. I'm sure many think your idea is a good one.

You mentioned that you were going through a lot of red tape trying to get this put on the calendar but you didn't specify what we could do to help....other than pray for you. If there is anything else we can do to help please let us know. I know I'd be willing to help!

Many views on forums such as this are done by remote web
robots which automatically access everything. So "Views" is not
representative of how many humans viewed a thread.

Right now we have 43 members logged in and 330 guests.
A small number of the "guests" may be human, but the vast majority of guests are trolling bots.
You can click on "forums home" in the drop down list and scroll to the end, and these stats can be viewed by anyone.

Don't go by the views count - it isn't a true representation of real people reading your post.

As mrsD mentioned.....

Some members read many of the new posts as they come up, and they always don't have a reply or know what to say.

Some of the views are due to the automated search bots and also guests that may or may not be members.

Just wanted to let you know about that part of it, don't feel discouraged when the views number is high like that.

Can I make a suggestion? You might want to start a poll to see how many people would like to see this happen. If you need help getting the poll posted just PM me and I'll be happy to help you.

Kim, would you like me to post it for you? I know your mind is elsewhere with today being the anniversary of your grandson's passing. I'm so sorry to hear about that. I can post it for you and then maybe another day I'll send you instructions on how to do it in case you ever want to post another one. Does that sound good?
