I found this in a woman's daily readings book.
I asked God to pick a page that would speak to me. I opened the book randomly. I had a really bad attitude that day and I knew it. This is what he picked for me: WE CANNOT CHANGE OUR PAST WE CANNOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT PEOPLE ACT IN A CERTAIN WAY THE ONLY THING WE CAN DO IS PLAY THE ONE STRING WE HAVE AND THAT IS OUR ATTITUDE I knew then that I was not alone, and it was not the people around me that where causing my frame of mind, it was me. When I changed my attitude, it seemed like everyone else did. I was impressed that I had that much power over people. Ha ha, not true, but it was fun to think that for a moment anyway. |
