Default Sen. Ted Kennedy has Passed Away

I don't care about the politics; please set that aside.

I hope he's at peace and his family finds comfort in means that help heal.

I know how it is to lose a relative to brain cancer, and the legacy that follows.

My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Brain cancer: A horrible disease.

Unhappy

CNN has some very interesting coverage today. And will also air
a special 1 hr documentary narrated by Sen. Kennedy himself tonight.

It is a great loss.

I too know how it is is to lose a close relative to a devastating brain tumor.

I will try to watch this documentary...probably will need to tape it.

Thank you for mentioning it Mrs. D.

Yes, a great loss.

I watched some documentaries today about his life's work. I dunno if I could commit 46 years of life to one career and to affect the changes that resulted; on the average, most people in the U.S. endure 3 career changes. Learned a lot more about him today, that's for sure.

He will be missed. I know that he was a advocate for the people.

I don't think we'd have an American with Disabilities Act if it weren't for Ted Kennedy...and that's just one of the many worthy causes he believed in and fought for. A great loss indeed..

Ted Kennedy. As an Irish-catholic - JFK at 6, RFK at 13, Now Ted at 53 - it seems Camelot is truly gone now. Nothing left.

Of all the coverage I watched yesterday, I was most impressed about Teddy's personal interactions with so many people.

He put himself out there for so many. I saw Joe Biden's speech and he summed it up.... Ted Kennedy was not about himself, he was about YOU.--I am not quoting it exactly, but you get the point. One journalist told the story of how Teddy learned of the reporter's dad's rare cancer, and got him a special doctor, set it up and that father is now in remission. Things like that, I really didn't know about this side of Ted Kennedy.

So it is a great loss for many that he is gone!
