Unhappy Agghh days are getting shorter already!!

I can't believe it 9 pm here and sky is nearly dark already...

but on the plus side our 9+ days in a row of above 90* is finally over with.
3 of those days were 100+ and that is rare for Oregon.

getting a very cooling breeze tonight.

I agree with you it seems our days are getting shorter to fast. Also we are getting up in the 90's but feel hotter because the humity is staying high.

Just kick some of that coolness here.

Personally, I'm glad to see this sign of Fall. This Summer heat has really done a number on me and I'm so tired of staying inside all the time. I'm beginning to feel like a vampire....only going outside when it's dark and somewhat cool!

It also seems to be darker in the mornings. It makes it harder to get up.

I can't complain about the heat. It has been a nice, balmy summer here in New York. The only problem is, since it has been so cool, my tomatoes will not ripen on the vines. Good thing we like fried green tomatoes.

My tomatoes are on yet either.

I'm bummed to see summer coming to an end. I know, not on the calender, but it feels like it's about over. And I didn't get to have much fun with it yet.

Dang, I've been ripped off for the last 4 yrs now. This yr it was all about fixing this ol house up. Ugh.. I really need a vacation. I am SO beat!

It's supposed to be in the high 80's/low 90's this weekend, with a heat index of around 99*, in north west Ohio next to lake Erie.

Tongue Summer Daze

Hi Gang, Haven't been here for oh so long!! It's been a terrible summer here in New Brunswick, Canada, at least for me. Vert hot and humid, not a good combination. :

Glad to see Fall on the horizon, although it means Winter can't be far behind. I love Fall but hate Winter!!! Am I never satisfied?

Hope this finds you all doing well and I plan to come back more often.
