Default Swine Flu Shot is dangerous...

This is a link to an eye opening letter about the upcoming Swine Flu Shot. I will not take it.

Swine flu jab link to killer nerve disease: Leaked letter reveals concern of neurologists over 25 deaths in America

Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...#ixzz0OLlunoSH

It refers to the use of a similar swine flu vaccine in the United States in 1976 when:

* More people died from the vaccination than from swine flu.
* 500 cases of GBS were detected.
* The vaccine may have increased the risk of contracting GBS by eight times.
* The vaccine was withdrawn after just ten weeks when the link with GBS became clear.
* The US Government was forced to pay out millions of dollars to those affected.

Default H1N1 flu

The H1N1 (Swine flu) we have now is different than the one in 1976.

http://www.medicinenet.com/swine_flu/page7.htm

The one in 1976 is a variant of H1N1 and is known as A/New Jersey/19776 (H1N1).

http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/EID/vol12no01/05-0965.htm

These are both A types. It is true about the deaths, etc. from the vaccine in 1976. My Mom had the vaccine with no consequences. But a friend got GBS after having the vaccine back then.

I won't be getting any kind of flu shot anyway. I never have and I won't be getting one. I did have the Asian Flu in 1957 and the Hong Kong flu in 1968. These were both pandemics and there was no vaccine back then. They were not fun but I survived both of them.

All vaccines have this potential. The 1976 swine flu shot was the first vaccine given in huge amounts to many many people. It was a mass event...I recall the long lines myself! So the GBS rates were higher.

But the meningitis vaccine Menactra you see on TV has a GBS warning as does the Gardisil.

The people who react have a tendency to autoimmune dysfunctions. At this time there is no test to show who will react to a given vaccine this way, unfortunately.

That is true. They do not know how people will react to the vaccine. The friend of ours who got GBS was perfectly healthy. She was an airline attendant and the company required that their employees get the vaccine.

http://www.capitalcentury.com/1976.html

The 1976 H1N1 flu was different than the H1N1 flu we have now going around. And obviously the vaccine is different. It will be interesting to see how the children and adults they vaccinate fare.

The last I heard was that they were still testing the vaccine on children trying to decide whether they needed one or two shots.
