Default Life...what it ain't.

Life is many things to many people, each one has a different perspective and opinion on just what life is.

Life is what you make it...yep heard this one, but is it true?
Life gives you lemons, make lemonade...what if you don't have sweetner?
Life is like a bowl of cherries...and you definitely can get choked on a pit.
Life is a gift...and you don't like getting surprises.
Life is not yours to throw away...but how do you throw away life?

Yep, heard all these things and more most of my life...but what about what life is not. Life is not easy, not for anyone, everyone on this good green earth has stress, health issues, and other problems. Each person has their own battles to win, even the most financially secure worry. The most healthy worry, the one with the perfect job has worries.

The rich worry about their money and how they can get more. The financially stressed are just that, stressed, about how they're going to pay the piper for the dance. The healthy person worries if they are going to fall face first from a heart attack.

So...what life ain't is simple. Life ain't easy, what makes it seem so is also simple...good friends there when you need them. Life ain't forever, but at times it sho nuff seems to be. lol Life ain't cherries and lemonade at the same time.

Life is what happens from day to day with all the complexities available, and what each person does that impacts another's life and on and on it goes. Life is each person's own perception at a particular point in time.

Today, life is stressful...Friday, it could be less so. Especially if I remember where I put those Xanax...

I started each year with my Emotionally Disturbed kids (variety of reasons) telling them about the invisible signs I had hung over the blackboard. One reading "Life is not fair." They really were brave kids, especially the ones who knew what they knew, so young, about life.

I go with the Life is what you make it thing. What life is, though, is interesting.

And thing is, the tougher the thing sometimes, the better the stories you have later on. It may take a few years before you can laugh about it, but you usually can find something.

getting older does have its advantages...people blame your grumpiness on age. You can be rude and they say...she's old. lol

I haven't been online much, seems that one thing after another keeps popping up poopings. Last weekend my DIL's grandmother died, I worked with her several years ago. She had some very minor kidney issues but nothing life threatening...her daughter found her in the bed already gone.

They think she either had a stroke or massive heart attack that happened sometime during the night or early morning.

By Aunt Grace's grimy finger nails I still have the ability to laugh. Which is good for the soul and it helps relieve pain. lol

Take care my sweeties. see you later.

In the movie "Whales of August", think it was Jessica Tandy who said "Life. It always surprises you."
