Good luck to you wdwgranny you should hear something in four to six weeks. Don't give up if you don't get it on the first go. Keep fighting.

If your primary hasn't received anything from SS yet then they are still working on it. Call your local office since your stuck in bed and find out what's going on. I like to help if I can. Was it Feb of this year ? Sometimes it takes up to 2 years for people to get everything they deserve. Try to keep yourself busy because sitting around thinking about this is unhealthy. Go to the social security.gov site and read about some of the laws and stuff it helps to kill time and you can educate yourself. Just a suggestion.

I wish you luck but want to warn you this may be a long wait. Like I tell everyone I know or talk to about this. You need to be prepared for the long haul. We almost lost everything in my fight. It took 3 1/2 years to in my case. I won in June and even after backpay we are still behind. Hopefully you will have a better outcome!
