Default still waiting how to prepare :)

SSD said they have most of my info waiting on 2 places to send back med info and i need to send one Dr i couldnt remember his name when i filled out papers , i forget things easly sounds strange i know how could one forget a Dr's name, who did a shoulder surgry , but i did.
any way so now they check to see if all my med info is severe enough (right/)
then if it is will i hear something then or if is denied (ohh i hate that word)
then i get a letter?
How does one prepare themselves mentally for that DENIAL.. so hard not to drive myself up the wall..
i wish this thing was cut and dry, but so many factors play into this, and reading the the site on blue book how they check your symptoms limitations etc is so confusing to me lol. oh well just needed to talk

Hang in there wdwgranny. At least it sounds like you're being considered. They usually just reject you. We all forget, I started writing things down a long time ago. There is no way to prepare, I always try to use positive thinking. I know it's hard, but sometimes it works.

This is why I told you it is best to keep a daily journal. I also forget things very easily. If you write doctors names down, how your pain affected you a certain day. What you did to combat it. Lay down , take pain pills, etc. My judge was impressed with mine and took the time to actually read quite a bit during my hearing.

Hoosier is right wdwgranny from now out start keeping a journal, so you can see your good days (if you have any) compared to your bad days. How you feel after taking your meds and how you feel after walking, standing or sitting. What doctors you saw on what date and how you felt before and after. Did you have to go into the hospital. Basically write what happens all day.
