congratulations. i have read about doctors telling patients that you cant get disability for peripheral neuropathy. as you can see this is yet another area where many doctors are either ignorant of the facts or else not putting the best interests of the patients first because they dont want to be bothered filling out and paperwork.

I can finally take a deep sigh of relieve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I realize this post is a few years old, However it is a relief to read this. I have been fighting to get diasbility and was recently Diagnosed as Having Type 2 diabeties, and Peripheral Neuropathy affecting Both Leg's, Both feet and lower back, for the sensory and autonomic Nerves. The numbness, Tingling, swelling, constant pain. Taking Metformen and Ropinirole and Flexeril and Tramadol. Hate the pills but they help most days. Had to get trigger point injections for Faucet joints, and two epidurals for lower back pain. Didn't work. Actually NOthing is working, seeing 3 different doctors, and Now awaiting to see a Rheumatologist for Knee pain, MRI showed some abnormalities in the joints not sure what is all means.. HOPING to get a favorable decision from SSDI Family is really Struggling on only one income. Glad I Found this site
