Default phone interview any tips for me

Hi All,
I suffer chronic pain, anxiety, arthritis and depression.

My major problem is the chronic pain, I am on meds Codeine, Xanax, and Nortriplyline.

My employer told me I was too sick to work, gave me 30 days medical leave.
then said I was no longer employed.

Both my doctor and my company doctor say i have he chronic pain and anxiety and i have the documentation for it,

I have my phone interview for SSI and SSD in a few days.

Can anybody give me advise or tips for my phone interview.

thank you,
frank

Be prepared!! Have all your information ready to include your doctor, clinic, and hospital names with address and phone numbers. The name of your medications. Your impairments that prevent you from working. Name of past employer(s) and last date worked. The phone interview is just to gather the information needed to send your claim on to the DDS for medical review.

I just want to add make sure all of your doctors are on board with you getting disability. I won for anxiety, depression and other mental issues as well as chronic knee pain/surgeries. However I had good documentation and I had to wait 3 1/2 years to win. Before you go into this be prepared that it may take you quite awhile to win. However maybe you have good documentation and win right away. Good Luck.

Take the time to go to socialsecurity.gov and complete a thorough online disability report and submit it. Your phone interview may last an hour or an hour and a half, and that may or may not be enough time to complete the technical parts of the SSDI and SSI claim as well as a thorough job on the disability report.
